Hello!

Yesterday I made my first pie, and it was an apple pie!
It turned out pretty good for a first attempt, but not perfect

have a look! Please ignore the black parts, that overflowed pie filling that got burnt while baking =)

Unfortunately at that point of time i did not know how to cut it so it was slightly catastrophic..luckily now I do

But I won't be selling this pie just yet. When I do though, I will sell the whole pie, not a few slices. And the price depends on how much i have to fork out for apples

Hello!
Today I shall introduce one of my most liked creations, CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!
They are crispy on the outside, chewy in the middle. Basically they are totally amazing. Both kids and adults love them, and i can make them chewier/crispier if you want, just let me know!

hello all!

i made a marbled cheesecake today =)

Its a rather rich cake and it yields 12 pieces. Lovely cookie crumb base and a wonderful contrast of colours. This baked cheesecake is just glorious.A party in the mouth!

A whole cake costs $30 and half costs $15
Contains cream cheese and eggs, no gelatin

I am sorry to say that i will not sell less than half a cake, unless half a cake has already been sold.

e.g. I sold half a cake to A. B then orders 5 pieces.
in this situation, i will accept
in all other situations i regret to inform that i would be making a loss if i did so and therefore will not make one whole cake just to sell one piece. The ingredients in the cake are on the pricey side, that is why i cant to this

Hello all! Today i will be introducing something new to my menu
OREO MUFFINS!

These are my new favourite muffins, both unbelievably light but the flavours are robust enough to hold their own. The icing in on the buttery side, so I'm making it optional though if you do want some, it will come separately so that the muffin dosen't spoil. Don't worry! most of the Oreo is in the cake part of the cupcake =)

The second item, is my pineapple tarts! I had to make a batch for Carnival Day in school so I figured what the heck, might as well get a nice picture while im at it. AND the festive season is fast approaching so I'll be taking orders till the first Thursday of September. Okay..my pineapple tarts are good..they are small so you can pop them in your mouth(no mess) and they feel less sinful! My mom makes the jam for me and i do the rest. In the following pictures, the jam may look red because it IS red! But thats in honour of National Day. So if you want the jam in any other colour(the norm is yellow), except black, let me know!

Yep, some background info: profiteroles are made of choux pastry, and can be a little on the eggy side. All you have to do, is slice the choux puffs open, stuff them with ice cream or whipped cream(and whatever else you may like), pour on some chocolate sauce(mine, or the bottled variety) and dig in! HEAVENLY! I can't supply the ice cream though, it will melt by the time its delivered

These babies are called Chocolate Lava Muffins. Regular delicious chocolate muffins, with a rich gooey filling. They are not overpowering chocolate-y but have just the right amount! No kidding! Personally, i get headaches when things are too sweet or rich, but these are GLORIOUS.

Get them little pieces of chocolate heaven at:

If you want espresso sauce, it will cost you 50cents more =)

Well worth it I tell you!

How to re-lava your muffins:
These are best straight out of the oven, but how am I going to spread the love if it has to be done solely from my house? SO, to make your centers molten, put muffins in a microwave on low heat for about 10-20sec (to your preferance) ALTERNATIVELY you can put them in a conventional oven at 50 deg Cel. till you see the tops 'melting'. I personally prefer the microwave

Serve with espresso sauce OR good vanilla ice cream!
I can guarantee you'll be wanting more~

I can't bake at the moment because a bad fall has me walking on crutches so I can't do anything, for the matter and I'm really sorry!

These little things seen in the photo are Lemon Bars/Squares. They are really delectable in a heavenly, balanced mix of sweet and sour, soft and crunchy. The addition of coconut to the batter adds bite and the citrus icing adds depth to the lemony flavour. Overall, it is irresistible.

Just in case, I think its wise to mention, this recipe contains eggs, coconut and butter and therefore, is not suitable for strict vegetarians and those allergic to those ingredients.

Each piece is about 1 ½ inches wide and ¾ inch thick.

This blogshop of sorts is finally up!yay!

Well, I'll use this post to explain my cause okay?

I went to Siem Reap,Cambodia last year, for a service trip with the school, and the state in which the children there lived really moved me. Their classrooms had no electricity or even a proper toilet! Some had big houses, but inside was not a sight to behold. Shoddy building and cramped living quarters were a common sight and children, as young at 9(?) were already working labour-intensive jobs to help their family make ends meet. Some younger looking ones were roped into begging syndicates which used their innocent image to get tourists to part with their money. Studying in school is seen by many, as a waste of time.Such is the nature of their lives.

This year, the school is planning to bring 30 selected students from all three Uniformed Groups to Cambodia again. I am REALLY eager to go, but my chances of going this year is really slim as i have been going overseas for volunteer for for 2 consecutive years. So this shop is a way for me to contribute, if i cannot go there this year, the money i earn will go to the children there in the form of a donation. However, if i am given to opportunity to go, but will have to pay for my own plane ticket, then I will use the money for that purpose.

I hope you understand that I have good intentions, and I want to make a practice of giving part of my earnings to charity. So support my cause and fill your tummy at the same time! its a win-win situation =D
